It’s your mother’s birthday.

  4. Ἰωάννης Οὐτινί χαίρειν. I wish you could have been with us. This evening at 6pm we had a Solemn Mass at Holy Innocents here on West 37th St. in New York City for the Nativity of Our Lady. Celebrant: Fr. Zuhlsdorf, Deacon: Fr. Barone, Sub-Deacon: Geoffrey.....how embarassing, I've known Geoffrey for over a year now and I don't remember his last name! Good grief! I'm not even sure that he spells his Christian name with "G-" as opposed to "J"!!! ....Holy Moly! I just realized that I don't even know whether you accent your name Οὖτις (like that πολύτροπος dude from Ithaca) or Οὔτις! Anyway I send you many Xo's from Manhattan, John

  5. Not to worry. You were at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass there, and I here, so I WAS with you all again: at the foot of the Cross.
